 Reason for the abortion:
I just couldn't have had a baby - I'm going to university and a baby would ruin my career and then my life - and its life would be terrible because of that. My boyfriend was only supportive of me because there was no chance I would keep it - I dread to think how he'd have been if I wasn't sure.
Did you have any difficulties accessing an abortion?
The wait is horrible - I got morning sickness really badly and turned into a horrible toad to everyone around me in the 3 weeks I had to wait - but I shouldn't complain, after all the NHS did provide the abortion for free.
How did you feel about your abortion experience?
The staff at the bpas clinics where I had my abortion where amazing - so kind, understanding and professional. They were the best part of a horrible situation. This experience has made me so glad and proud that I live in a (mostly) pro-choice country - I will be proud to tell my future children and family that I made such an important decision.
